Maroon Bow Ties
Maroon Bow Ties
Maroon bowties are not generally suited for relaxed events, nor do they tend to look good on men with a mischievous character. Though not as grave as black bow ties, they are more serious than bowties of lighter colors and fit a mature wearer with his a head on his shoulders and feet on the ground. When one looks at a maroon bow tie one is inclined to think of autumn and of rustling leaves not of spring and blooming flowers, so don't wear one at a garden party where dancing is expected of you. And remember, to look your best in one you must necessarily be melancholy.
